"I recently had an unexpected stay The nursing staff were excellent, absolutely fantastic. I felt extremely well taken care of. They were professional, and passionate about their job. A few of them went above and beyond to make sure thatnot only myself but my wife were as alright as we could be as we went through a traumatic time. The people that transported me from appointment to appointment were great. The cleaning staff were also spectacular a few of them went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to go to a hospital. Was also able to connect my xbox to the TV in the room."

"I had such a good birthing experience here at kootenai health and birth center. The midwives were amazing throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery. Shout out Rhonda (midwife) and Alison (nurse) who both helped deliver my baby. They made me feel supported, safe and comfortable the whole way. Rhonda and Alison were an amazing team and I am so glad they helped deliver my beautiful baby into this world. I would recommend anyone wanting to have their baby delivered here. All the nurses were so kind and made me feel at ease as well as keeping me well informed on every option available to me at any given point in time, without pushing anything on myself or baby. I would also like to add that I originally planned to have a natural birth, but the pain was too much for me. The anesthesiologist that performed my epidural was amazing. I was scared to go that route but after she answered some questions, I felt comfortable to move forward with the epi and she verbally explained every step along the way. I am so grateful I had a positive experience, especially being a first time mom. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all that work here."

"I arrived at The emergency room of Kootenai hospital around 4 pm on the 23rd of December. I was quickly checked in and taken back . I was met very quickly when I got in the room. I was really sick and my memory is kind of fuzzy, I would like to say I had a male nurse and a Male Doctor I remember. They were very kind and very attentive. They kept my daughter informed of all the test that were being done and all the results. They were very thorough. I was admitted about 2:30 am. I was taken to the 3rd floor. I was met by a very nice nurse who took care of me until shift change. New nurses took over and all introduced theirselves to me. They were very kind and made sure I had all that I needed. The Doctor came in around 11am, She was very interested in how I felt and how I was doing. She let me go home after making sure I had the correct meds.I was able to go home on the 24th Christmas Eve 2025. I went into details of times and dates ,the floor I was on because I can’t remember the names of the staff that took care of me. I hope they read this because I would like to thank each of them for the amazing treatment I received including the ladies that came to take blood, my experience through the whole stay was exceptional ! I appreciate the kindness even having to work the Christmas Holiday. Thank you to the Kootenai staff. Terrie Williams"
